<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio relay device capable of estimating radio wave intensity from a radio base station to suspend a communication function with a radio terminal according to the radio wave field intensity. <P>SOLUTION: A radio relay device includes: a base station controller 24 for acquiring first electric field intensity of a radio wave from a terminal communication unit 32 at a base station communication unit 22, and for acquiring transmission power information of the terminal communication unit 32; and a terminal controller 34. From the base station communication unit 22, the base station controller 24 acquires second electric field intensity of a radio wave from the radio base station at the base station communication unit 22. Based on the first electric field intensity and the transmission power information, the terminal controller 34 calculates a propagation loss, and from the second electric field intensity and the propagation loss, estimates third electric field intensity of the radio wave from the radio base station at the terminal communication unit 32, and suspends the operation of the terminal communication unit 32 if the third electric field intensity is greater than a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
