<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger including a support frame member of excellent durability free from the anxiety of a stress concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is arranged with the reinforcing support frame member at a circumferential edge of a core, the support frame member 10 includes a tongue piece-like flat plate end 11 formed in a prescribed length Lt form an end edge along a longitudinal direction LD, and inserted into a reception hole formed in a tank arranged in the vicinity of a side of the core, a sidewall installation part 13 having right and left sidewalls 14a, 14b formed bending-erectly at the same width Wt from left and side right end positions of the flat plate end along a width direction WD perpendicular to the center axial line CL, and an intermediate part 12 located between the flat plate end 11 and the sidewall installation part 13 having a shape of an isosceles trapezoid with a width changed gradually based on a width difference between the flat plate end and the sidewall installation part at visual observation before bending-working right and left widened parts, and formed into structure brought into a triangular sidewall 15 continuing from the flat plate end part to the right and left sidewall, when one part is deformed to be erected so as to be bent after bending-worked.
