<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device achieving the miniaturization more than the conventional configuration despite the integration of a circuit for a control. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes: a display panel 2 formed into a thin rectangular plate shape and having a display surface 21 that is one surface in the thickness direction, for displaying information; a rectangular box-shaped body 4 having one surface opened in the thickness direction in which the display panel 2 is mounted; a drive unit 5 having a coil 51, fixed to the inside of the body 4, and configured to operate when an electric signal is input; and an electronic circuit component 6 that includes at least a display circuit for lighting the display panel 2 and an audio circuit for outputting sound from the display panel 2, and that is stored inside the body 4. When the electric signal is input in the coil 51 of the drive unit, the display panel 2 is oscillated and outputs sound therefrom.
