<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping joint including a strainer which can be installed without requiring a wide space. <P>SOLUTION: A piping joint 1 connects piping connected to water pipes or a boiler and piping connected to faucet instruments. The piping joint 1 includes: an upstream-side join 10 having a water cutoff valve function and connected to the water pipes or the boiler; a downstream-side joint 30 having a check valve function, disposed at a downstream side of the upstream-side joint 10 and connected to the faucet instruments; and a strainer 50 for filtering water or hot water flowing into a duct of the piping joint 1. The downstream-side joint 30 is attached to the upstream-side joint 10, thereby supporting the strainer 50 on the duct of the piping joint 1 within the piping joint 1 while holding the strainer 50 between the upstream-side joint 10 and the downstream-side joint 30.
