<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "electronic system" for improving frequency precision of a PWM pulse generated by a microcomputer. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic system includes: a sub-microcomputer 21 for outputting a PWM pulse having a period obtained by frequency-dividing an operation clock generated by a low accuracy oscillator 22 by using a set division ratio n; a main microcomputer 11 operating by an operation clock generated by a high accuracy oscillator 12, for measuring a period Tpr of the PWM pulse outputted by the sub-microcomputer 21 to calculate a true period Tsr of the operation clock of the sub-microcomputer 21 by using the measured period Tpr and the division ratio n set to the sub-microcomputer 21 at present, and obtaining the division ratio n at which the period of the PWM pulse becomes the closest to a desired period Tpt of the PWM pulse, by using the true period Tsr of the calculated operation clock of the sub-microcomputer 21, to set the division ratio n to the sub-microcomputer 21 by using communication between the microcomputers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
