<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening device configured in compact in size and fastening a fastening member. <P>SOLUTION: The fastening device 30 for fastening the fastening member includes: a motor 5 giving torque for fastening the fastening member to the fastening member; a socket 8 engaged with the fastening member; a spindle 14 provided with the socket 8 on its tip and turned by the motor 5; and an extension bar 7 connected to the motor 5 and movably connected in a direction of a rotating shaft while transmitting rotation from the motor 5 to the spindle 14. The fastening device has: a spindle case 12 capable of housing the spindle 14 and spline-engaged with the spindle 14 spirally in a direction of the rotation axis; an outer case 11 for housing the spindle case 12; and an electromagnetic clutch 13 capable of selecting whether to fix or to separate the spindle case 12 and the outer case 11 with respect to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
