<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming the stern structure of a ship to which an unsymmetrical twist flow control fin is attached, with which distribution of the flow velocity into a propeller is made uniform, and energy loss caused by the rotational flow of the propeller wake flow can be reduced during navigation. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a step (a) of preparing a plurality of stern appendages 121-124; a step (b) of modeling the flow of the fluid formed in a ship 100 during navigation; and a step (c) of determining the fitting position, the size, the fitting angle, and the twist angle of each of the plurality of stern appendages in order to reduce energy losses of the ship based on the flow of the modeled fluid. The plurality of stern appendages have fitting positions and lengths different from each other not in all parts, but at least in a part thereof, and have at least one of (i) a twisted structure around the axes of rotation different from each other or (ii) a sectional structure unsymmetrical about each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
