<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet bowl capable of preventing washing water flowing in a rim portion from splashing outside the toilet bowl. <P>SOLUTION: The flush toilet bowl 1 includes a bowl part 8 having a bowl-shaped sewerage receiving surface 14, a rim portion 16 formed at the upper edge with its inner peripheral face 17 rising in the almost vertical direction, and a shelf portion 18 formed between the rim portion and the sewerage receiving surface, a rim discharge port 26 for discharging washing water onto the shelf portion of the bowl part to form a swirl flow f1, and a rim headrace 10d for supplying the washing water to the rim discharge port, the rim discharge port being formed near a front end 16a in a front side region F of the rim portion, the rim portion having a rear side region R formed with its curvature radius ρ3 larger than a curvature radius ρ1 at the front end in the front side region F1 of the rim portion and almost constant symmetrically, the rim discharge port serving for discharging water toward the front side to form a swirl flow so that the water flows through the front end in the front side region of the rim portion to the rear side region of the rim portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
