<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that can perform various performance displays by a display means. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a number of matches display means in which three or more display areas are provided in the display part 11 and which displays a first character vs. one or a plurality of second characters by displaying the first character at least in one of the display areas and displaying the second character in the remaining display areas; a display area changing means that expands the display area on the first character side displayed by the number of matches display means and that decreases at least one of the display areas on the second character side; and a match performance means that displays a winning match result performance when determination result by a win/lose determination means turns out winning and that displays a blank match result performance in the event of a blank determination result.
