<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment and detachment to/from a contact electrode attached to a living body, to secure electric safety, and to accurately detect biological information of an electrocardiogram or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a clip part 110, by a first clamping piece 122 and a second clamping piece 132 facing each other, the projection-like terminal part 46 of an electrode attached to the living body is clamped. To a contact 150 provided on at least one of the first clamping piece 122 and the second clamping piece 132, the terminal part 46 is electrically connected.
