<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified conjugated diene polymer composition, which exhibits an excellent affinity for various inorganic fillers such as a silica-based inorganic filler, the vulcanizate of which has an excellent balance between wet skid properties and low hysteresis loss properties, and which satisfies practically sufficient wear resistance and fracture strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a modified conjugated diene polymer comprises the processes of: polymerizing a conjugated diene compound or copolymerizing the conjugated diene compound with an aromatic vinyl compound by using a polyfunctional anionic polymerization initiator having 1.2-3.5 molecular weight distribution, when measured by using gel permeation chromatography (GPC), to obtain a conjugated diene polymer; and reacting a compound having four or more alkoxyl groups, each of which is bonded to a silyl group, and having one or more nitrogen atoms, with a polymerization-active terminal of the conjugated diene polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
