<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting contents of a set item for a certain projector to be set in another projector as well by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A set code P1 obtained by encoding a plurality of set items 21a for a projector 1 in predetermined order is generated, and the generated set code P1 is input to another projector, thereby decoding the input set code P1 and setting contents of the set item 21a is altered.
