摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain reduction of an effective region in which an electron multiplication structure is provided in a dynode. <P>SOLUTION: A photomultiplier tube is provided with an electron multiplier formed by laminating plural dynodes 10 formed by pressing a metallic material. The plural dynodes 10 have electron passage hole formation parts EM provided with electron passage holes 11 for multiplying incident electrons, and include dynodes adjacent to each other in a lamination direction. A projection part 23 is provided at a peripheral edge of one dynode 10, and a recess part 24 is provided at a peripheral edge of the other dynode 10. The adjacent dynodes 10, 10 are positioned relative to each other by fitting the projection part 23 and the recess part 24.
