<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory management system by which the determination of leakage from an underground tank can easily be performed in a short period of time, and effect on a fuel feeding operation which is caused by the leakage determination is minimized. <P>SOLUTION: The inventory management system 1 includes a server 80 for storing record book data including an inventory amount, a sales volume, and a receiving amount of fuel oil of a gas station equipped with an underground tank 20 for storing the fuel oil, statistics analysis data (SIR data) having been obtained by statistically processing the record book data, and data on variation in stationary liquid level of fuel oil which has been obtained by measuring the variation of liquid level when the fuel oil is still in the underground tank. In addition, the server determines the presence of fuel oil leakage from the underground tank, when it is detected that at least one of the record book data, statistics analysis data, and data on variation in stationary liquid level of fuel oil is abnormal, and notifies of the leakage at the time of the determination. By performing the notification of the leakage to a destination having been already registered in the server, the gas station or the like is quickly notified of the leakage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
