<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing unevenness in density caused by transmissivity variations due to internal absorption within a resin lens. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes; a light source capable of emitting a light beam having a wavelength of less than 450 nm; a rotary polygon mirror for deflection-scanning the light beam from the light source; an optical scanning lens system for guiding the light beam scanned by the rotary polygon mirror to a scanning target surface; and a controller for controlling emission/non-emission of the light beam by the light source. The optical scanning lens system comprises resin lenses, and the controller integrates emitted light beam intensity from an image signal corresponding to a previously printed image at each scanning position in the main scanning direction, generates a light intensity variable signal on the basis of the integrated light intensity at each scanning position, and variably controls light beam intensity from the light source for an image signal corresponding to a printed image according to the light intensity variable signal at each scanning position in the main scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
