<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that preparation of walls for limiting radio wave leakage between lanes at an ETC system tollgate requires an additional work while causing cost to increase. <P>SOLUTION: A communication processor has a receiving antenna part for forming multiple antenna beams corresponding to each of multiple reception areas 9a to 9f provided on a road and a reception signal processing part connected to the receiving antenna part for determining a location of an ETC on-vehicle unit 11 on the basis of multiple reception signals received by the receiving antennas part. The multiple reception areas are arranged on a main lane through which a vehicle communicating information on the toll collection passes as well as on lanes next to the main lane. The reception signal processing part determines a lane through which the vehicle passes by comparing the intensities of the reception signals received from the same ETC on-vehicle unit 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
