摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve wear resistance of a sliding surface in a marine piston ring. <P>SOLUTION: A marine piston ring 10 includes a piston ring body 12 formed from metal material, and a CrN coating layer 14 which is coated with ion plating and formed from CrN on a sliding surface 13 of the piston ring body 12.
