DISPERSANT, AND DISPERSIBLE COMPOSITION OF METAL NANOPARTICLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant capable of effectively dispersing metal nanoparticles.

SOLUTION: The dispersant includes a citric acid derivative represented by formula (I) [wherein group X represents a hydrogen atom or an acetyl group, and group R represents a 1-6C alkyl group]. It is more preferable that the group X in the formula preferably is a hydrogen atom, and the group R therein preferably is a 3-6C alkyl group.
