A boundary acoustic wave device is provided which can increase the attenuation outside of a passband and allows reduction in size without providing a structure for adding large capacitance. A boundary acoustic wave device (1) in which an electrode structure is provided at the interface between a piezoelectric substrate and a dielectric layer, and the electrode structure constitutes a ladder fitter, where at least two ground pads of a plurality of ground pads (28 to 31), to be connected to a ground potential, provided on the piezoelectric substrate (11) are electrically connected by a connection conductor (32) provided on the dielectric layer (12,) and all the ground pads (28 to 31) are electrically connected. |
