OPERATIONAL METHOD WITH CELL BALANCING FOR A MEDIUM AND LARGE SIZE BATTERY

PURPOSE: A cell balancing operating method for a medium and large size battery is provided to prevent the overcharging of the battery by implementing cell balancing only when a calculated SOC(State Of Charge) exceeds a standard value. CONSTITUTION: A cell voltage measuring stage(S100) measures the voltage value of each cell inside a battery. A SOC calculating stage(S200) calculates a SOC with the voltage value of each cell. A cell balancing stage(S300) compares the calculated SOC with a predetermined standard amount and implement cell balancing when the SOC exceeds the standard amount.
