PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately and simply manufacturing a large amount of pattern phase difference films used for three-dimensional image display of a passive system, and a method for accurately and simply manufacturing a large amount of optical films such as color filters.

SOLUTION: Sizes of pattern phase difference films and optical films are corrected by adjusting moisture content in a moisture content adjusting step, on the basis of measurement results of sizes of the pattern phase difference films and optical films in a measurement step.
