<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool and method for transferring a membranous tissue, capable of surely and easily holding and transferring a membranous tissue such as a sheet-like cell culture to a desired position by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The tool 10 for transferring a membranous tissue 12 composed of cells derived from a living body includes a first sheet-like supporting member 14 disposed on one side of the membranous tissue 12 in a wet state, and a second sheet-like supporting member 16 disposed on the other side of the membranous tissue 12 in a wet state. The membranous tissue 12 is entirely held by the first supporting member 14 and the second supporting member 19.
