AIR FILTER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND AIR CLEANER MOUNTED WITH THE AIR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter capable of suppressing increase in ventilation resistance.

SOLUTION: The air filter includes a pleated filtering medium part 10, and a shape maintaining part 11 maintaining the pleated shape of the filtering medium part 10. The filtering medium part 10 is formed by a base material portion 14 and a fine fiber layer 15 installed on the upstream side face of an air flow sent to the base material portion 14. A first adhesive layer 16 closing a space of the fine fiber layer 15 is installed at a tip of a crest portion on the upstream side of the air flow of the fine fiber layer 15.
