<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous data write/download and to prevent damages and faults of a speech terminal, when executing setting change of the speech terminal or update of firmware by control of a personal computer. <P>SOLUTION: CPUs 13 and 23 of speech terminals (at least one of a slave unit and a master unit) 1 and 2 are capable of discriminating a model (model name) related to control data by collating a MAC address transmitted from a CPU 42 of a personal computer 4 with a MAC address of the present terminal and referring to a specific byte that the MAC address has further. Thus, when data write/download is to be executed to a terminal of an erroneous model, not only it is reported that it is an error (erroneous transmission) but also a collation result of that effect is transferred to the personal computer 4 and reported. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
