PURPOSE: A data transmission and reception system between an audio and video camera and an output apparatus and method thereof are provided to offer compatibility with an audio and video camera by transmitting the audio and video signal to an Ethernet interface module of an output apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An audio and video camera(100) obtains an audio and video signal. A transmission apparatus(200) compresses the audio and video signal from the audio and video camera. The transmission apparatus transmits the compressed audio and video signal through an RF(radio frequency) antenna. A reception apparatus(300) routes the received audio and video signal in a packet type. The reception apparatus transmits the audio and video signal to an output apparatus(400) through the Ethernet.
