<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce drinking water from seawater, increase industrial water and reduce water desalination cost. <P>SOLUTION: A seawater desalination system includes a purification device 1 which eliminates active sludge from sewage water to purify the sewage water, a first RO membrane 2 which eliminates salt from the water transmitted through the purification device 1 so as to be included in first concentrated water s6 and generates industrial water s1, an UF membrane 3 which eliminates particles in the seawater, a second RO membrane 4 which eliminates salt of treatment water s5b transmitted through the UF membrane 3 so as to be included in second concentrated water s7 and generates drinking water s2, a stirring device 5 which stirs the second concentrated water s7 eliminated at the second RO membrane 4 and the first concentrated water s6 eliminated at the first RO membrane 2, a third RO membrane 6 which eliminates salt of a mixed liquid stirred at the stirring device 5 so as to be included in third concentrated water s9 and generates industrial water s3, and at least one of a first power recovery device 34 which recovers pressure energy of the second concentrated water s7 and a second power recovery device 36 which recovers pressure energy of the third concentrated water s9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
