<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system reducing errors that images which are not character images are recognized as character images by character recognition processing. <P>SOLUTION: Reception means of the image processing system receives a character-recognized character candidate image and information about the character candidate image. First determination means determines whether or not the character candidate image is a character image on the basis of the information about the character candidate image received by the reception means. Second determination means extracts a feature of the character candidate image received by the reception means and determines whether or not the character candidate image is a character image when it is not determined that the character candidate image is the character image or it is not determined that the character candidate image is not the character image by the first determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
