摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a driving distance from being shortened by reducing power consumption of a battery, when an air conditioning system is operated in an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning system for an electric vehicle includes: a fuel storage section for storing fuel; a combustion section for burning the fuel; a fuel supply section for supplying the fuel from the fuel storage section to the combustion section; an oxygen supply section for supplying oxygen to the combustion section; and a temperature raising section for raising temperature of air by using heat of combustion gas generated in the combustion section. Temperature in a cabin is adjusted by using the air in which temperature is raised in the temperature raising section. In addition, the temperature raising section is provided with the electrothermal power generation section that has a thermoelectric transducer in which electricity is generated by using a temperature difference between a flow path of the combustion gas and a flow path of heating fluid that flows in the temperature raising section. At least one of the fuel supply section, the oxygen supply section and a plurality of motors included in the temperature raising section is driven by using the electric power generated in the electrothermal power generation section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
