<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet bowl capable of improving its cleanliness that a user feels, and of improving the beauty of a whole bowl part. <P>SOLUTION: The flush toilet bowl includes the bowl part having a bowl-shaped sewerage receiving surface, a rim portion formed at the upper edge with its inner peripheral face 17 rising in the almost vertical direction, and a shelf portion 18 formed between the rim portion and the sewerage receiving surface, a rim discharge port 26 for discharging washing water onto the shelf portion of the bowl part to form a swirl flow, and a rim headrace 10d for supplying the washing water to the rim discharge port, the rim discharge port being formed in a front side region F2 of the bowl part, the rim portion having an inner peripheral face a section of which is shaped to overhang inward so that the rim discharge port is covered with the overhanging section of the rim portion to preclude a user from viewing it obliquely downward from the front side of the bowl part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
