<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door settling structure capable of improving operability of a sliding door when closing the sliding door stored in a door pocket and improving an appearance, and a construction method of the sliding settling structure. <P>SOLUTION: For the sliding door settling structure, a sliding door 30 is built freely slidably along left and right directions on an opening frame 1 and the sliding door in a fully opened state is stored and settled inside a door pocket 6. A pair of mullions 14, 14 are respectively provided with an interval in front and back along side ends 4a, 4a on a door pocket port side of wall bodies 4, 4 on both front and back sides sectioning the door pocket so as to form a door pocket port 6a of the door pocket. On a height direction middle position of side ends 15, 15 facing each other of the pair of mullions, notched parts 16, 16 for hand insertion opened in directions facing each other are respectively provided. Also, to each of the pair of mullions, cover materials 20, 20 are attached which are turned to a shape along the notched part for the hand insertion, form recesses 29, 29 for the hand insertion and cover the notched parts for the hand insertion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
