<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight, in a mirror device for a vehicle for storing a mirror by rotating a rotary body to a support. <P>SOLUTION: In this door mirror device 10 for the vehicle, when the mirror 46 is arranged in a storage position, a first fixed surface 20A of a fixed projection 20 of a stay 12 and a first rotary surface 28A of a rotary projection 28 of a driving body 24 are contacted, and the rotational movement of the mirror 46 is prohibited. Here, an inclination θ1 to the storage direction of the first fixed surface 20A is set smaller than an inclination θ2 to the forward falling direction of the first rotary surface 28A. Thus, contacting of the upper end of the first fixed surface 20A and the first rotary surface 28A can be restricted, and a distance L1 up to a contact position with the first rotary surface 28A from the lower end of the first fixed surface 20A can be shortened, so that the moment acting from the first rotary surface 28A on the first fixed surface 20A can be reduced, and damaging of a lower end position of the first fixed surface 20A of the fixed projection 20 can be restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
