<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interior component with a fine finishing state by fixing a surface member without using an adhesive, and to enhance workability in attaching the surface member. <P>SOLUTION: The interior component 11 includes a stiff core member 12 having rigidity, a surface member 14 for covering the core member 12, and a fixing cord member 15 having a cord shape for holding and fixing a circumferential edge of the surface member 14. The core member 12 has, at its circumferential edge on a back surface side, an engagement groove 21 that can receive the circumferential edge of the surface member 14 and the fixing cord member 15. When the circumferential edge of the surface member 14 and the fixing cord member 15 are pushed into the engagement groove 21 in this order so as to sandwich the fixing cord member 15 into the circumferential edge of the surface member 14, the engagement groove 21 can be engaged with the circumferential edge of the surface member 14 by being fitted with the circumferential part of the surface member 14 and the fixing cord member 15. The engagement groove 21 may also include engaging claws protruding inward of the engagement groove 21 and preventing the circumferential edge of the surface member 14 and the fixing cord member 15 from being disengaged from the engagement groove 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
