PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for continuous drying food waste and removing bad odor from the food waste are provided to prevent the generation of wastewater by drying pellets in a drying furnace. CONSTITUTION: A method and an apparatus for continuous drying food waste includes the following steps: food waste is crushed using a crushing and/or classifying unit(20) and is classified into waste of fluidized phase; the classified food waste is transferred into a pulverizer through a transferring pipe(40); the pulverized food waste is transferred to a sterilizer(70), and bad odor is removed from the food waste; the sterilized product is introduced into a storing bath(90) and is exhausted into a mixer through an exhausting pipe; dried pellets are introduced into the mixer and is mixed with the sterilized product; the mixed product is shaped into pellets such that the diameters of the pellets become in a range between 5 and 15mm; the shaped pellets are transferred into a drying furnace to become dried pellets; and the dried pellets are introduced into a combustion furnace.
