A reel for winding a metal wire is provided to maintain integrity of flange members to obtain sufficient stiffness even though side pressure applied to the flanges is increased. A reel for winding a metal wire includes a winding body, a pair of flanges(2), a plurality of side reinforcement ribs(6a), and a center periphery reinforcement rib(6b). The winding body has a cylindrical shape. The pair of flanges are disposed at both ends of the winding body. The flanges are formed of a first flange member(3) and a second flange member(4). The first flange member has a center pipe mounting hole(5). The side reinforcement ribs are formed around the mounting hole of the flange member. The center periphery reinforcement rib projects from the flange member to form a flange main body reinforcement part together with the side reinforcement ribs. |
