The supports are arranged along the path of the product travel and are arranged spaced from each other in staggered groups parallel to the product as it leaves the mould. The supporters are slightly bevelled on their faces to give a larger area of product surface covered by the jet and to reduce the area of contact to maintain friction at a minimum.
