The device (1) has a connection unit (20) connecting an auxiliary electric energy source (10) e.g. super capacitor, to an electric component e.g. electric machine (2) and heating unit (6), of a vehicle. The connection unit comprises a control unit (22) for controlling disconnection and connection of the electric component from and to the auxiliary energy source, respectively. The connection unit comprises a selector (21) for selecting the electric component to be fed by the auxiliary energy source.
