The aerogenerator has a nacelle (3) carried by a mast (1) and accommodating a generator (2) to swivel on the mast around a vertical axis between a maximum production position and a total weeding position in order to occupy orientations with respect to direction of wind. An automation unit is connected to a measurement unit and driving units (30), and moves the nacelle in an intermediate position between the maximum production position and the total weeding position to maintain rotation speed of the generator below predetermined maximum rotation speed.
