The module (1) has a wall (2) positioned against an inner surface of a wall (23) of a cockpit (20). An accessory (3) e.g. table, is couplable to the former wall. A fixing unit (4) fixes the accessory to a floor (21) i.e. pre-bored floor, of the cockpit. The former wall comprises a guidance path (5) along which the accessory is rectilinearly guided in a coupled state of the accessory with the wall. The accessory is mounted to slide in an uncoupled state of the accessory with the floor. The path is extended parallel to a supporting surface that forms the floor, against the latter wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a prefabricated interior trim module in a cockpit.
