The shunt has a longitudinal driver (1) mounted in series with a circuit for measuring an intensity. Two measurement points (3, 4) of a potential difference are isolated from each other according to a predetermined axis. An inverse U-shape magnetic shielding (6) surrounds the driver along a longitudinal axis on a portion, which covers half of a region between the two measurement points. The magnetic shielding is covered with an electrical insulating material. The magnetic shielding includes ends, which extend from a cross section of the driver. Axial ends of the shielding are opened.
