The guide has a guide element and another guide element (112) forming a separate drill guide for first and second holes (101, 102) and third and fourth holes, respectively. The latter guide element rests against a cut surface of a femur (100) after a cut is made with a guide section positioned on positioning elements e.g. screws, that are inserted into the first and second holes drilled in the femur. The former guide element includes two drilling jigs, and the latter guide element includes two drilling jigs (123, 124), where the jigs extend parallel to each other for guiding drilling of holes.
