The assembly (1) has case (10) including a pocket (12) for receiving a medal (20) and a slit (14) for introducing the medal. A window (15) is provided before a wall (13) of the pocket for visualizing the medal. The medal is mounted in a relief part on a flat support (21), which comprises a non-circular outer circumference (21a) that is approximately complementary to an inner circumference (12a) of the pocket. The outer circumference and the inner circumference include an angle relative to each other. Another window is provided below the former window for visualizing a plate e.g. bar.
