BIAS CIRCUIT FOR POWER AMPLIFIER, AND POWER AMPLIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bias circuit that implements a stable bias circuit without requiring an increased output resistance in a complementary SEPP circuit.

SOLUTION: The bias circuit for the complementary SEPP circuit includes: a differential amplifier for detecting a bias current; an operational amplifier for amplifying a difference between a desired voltage value and an output voltage value of the differential amplifier; an insulated transmitter for transmitting an insulated output signal of the operational amplifier; and a bias voltage source for outputting a bias output depending on the output of the insulated transmitter. The differential amplifier, the operational amplifier and the insulated transmitter function, so that the bias voltage source decreases the output bias voltage with increasing the bias current.
