<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in the display quality of a display device whose dynamic range changes depending on video. <P>SOLUTION: For an LCD whose a dynamic range as the width of outputtable luminance changes depending on video to be displayed, a video processing circuit 108 processes video to create the video to be displayed. The video processing circuit 108 acquires the dynamic range of the LCD from an LCD controller 109, and depending on the acquired dynamic range, a noise removal circuit 22 changes a degree of noise removal and performs noise removal of the video, and an edge enhancement circuit 23 changes a degree of edge enhancement and performs edge enhancement of the video. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
