<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information protection method, and an image processing device which can protect confidential information encrypted by its own device with high level security. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor protecting confidential information 73 in its own device, comprises: first storage means 58 which stores an encryption key 71 used for encrypting the confidential information 73, and performs access control according to definitions 56 defined by different factors for reading and writing the encryption key 71; calculation means 20 and 21 for uniquely calculating a value from firmware 50; second storage means for storing the encrypted confidential information 73; and access control means 54 which determines integrity of the firmware 50 on the basis of the calculated value, and performs access control on the encryption key 71 according to a definition based on integrity of the firmware 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
