<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions for topical application containing the synergistic combination of sunscreen active compounds. <P>SOLUTION: The compositions for topical application to skin and/or hair, comprise photoprotecting synergistically effective amounts of sunscreen active agents, such as octinoxate, octocrylene, and amiloxate. Methods of protecting skin and/or hair against deleterious effects of sunlight/UV radiation by topical application of compositions are also provided.
