<p>A gas-sampling tube has internal scranping cleaner in the form of a rotary screw, to convey out foreign matter. The screw having a helical spring which presents reduced resistance to gas flow and is self-cleaning due to repeated stretching and compression of the spring coils. The sampling tube is particularly suited to gases with a high proportion of grit dust, such as from furnaces, roasters and boilers.</p> |
