<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank system for a truck in which a support system for supporting a float hardly gets damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel tank system for a truck includes: a main fuel tank 200 having a tank chamber for storing fuel; a sub fuel tank 300 disposed at a level higher than the main fuel tank 200, and having a tank chamber for storing fuel; and a supply conduit 400 for communicating the tank chamber of the main fuel tank with the tank chamber of the sub fuel tank. The fuel tank system is provided with: a float vertically movable according to an amount of fuel stored in the tank chamber of the main fuel tank; a support mechanism for supporting the float to make the trajectory of the vertical movement of the float constant; a movement restriction means for restricting the movement of the float; and an open/close valve for controlling the start and end of fuel injection through the supply conduit according to the altitude of the float. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
