<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid chlorine dioxide gas generator capable of generating and maintaining chlorine dioxide gas having concentration suitable for sterilization, deodorization or the like even in an atmosphere in the dry state with low humidity. <P>SOLUTION: This chlorine dioxide gas generator comprises at least three materials, namely, a solid metal chlorite, a solid chlorinating agent reacting with the metal chlorite in the presence of water vapor to generate chlorine dioxide gas and not reacting therewith in the absence of water vapor, and a hydrate of an inorganic compound, and chlorine dioxide gas is generated by mixing them. This solid chlorine dioxide gas generator also comprises a combination of a package of a mixture of some two materials among the three materials and a package of the other one material, or a combination of each individual package of the three materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
