<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system and method for a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: A control system for a touch panel includes a voltage-controlled oscillator and a signal processor. The voltage-controlled oscillator is used to convert a DC voltage signal corresponding to a detection signal of the touch panel into a sinusoidal signal. The signal processor counts the frequency of the sinusoidal signal. The voltage-controlled oscillator in the control system for a touch panel converts the DC voltage signal into the sinusoidal signal. The frequency of the sinusoidal signal output from the voltage-controlled oscillator varies largely within a range so that the signal is not easily affected by noise, which achieves a relatively high SNR in the control system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
