<p>The belt contains thin copper wires, as electrical conductors, which are not part of the power transmission, but act as a protection against electrostatic charging. The wires are embedded as an insert into the fibre orientated belt, and do not touch the belt surface. The belt consists of polyamide, polyester, or polyurethane and is used as e.g. a flat belt, conveyor belt, or belt-shaped machine element.</p> |
